Did you know that doing regular cardiovascular fitness when you’re middle age can decrease your risk of developing dementia?

A study by Hörder H et al in 2014 was conducted over 44 years and found that among 191 Swedish women, those with higher cardiovascular fitness during middle age had a reduced risk of developing dementia.

Therefore, this study suggested that cardiovascular fitness programs when performed in mid-life may be beneficial as a tool to prevent dementia.
