A study by Milewski et.al found that if you have less than 8 hours of sleep per night, you may actually have a 1.7% increased risk of injury.
In fact, 65% of athletes who had less than 8 hours of sleep each night ended up having injuries.
But just having 8 hours of sleep a night may not fully cut it, it’s also important to go to sleep at the same time every night and try and sleep in a dark room as much as possible.
